The elderly should be able to rely on a sustainable network of care and support.  The aim of TayCare at Home is to provide quality care and support services to older people in their own homes, in ways they prefer and are comfortable with. TayCare’s services will also benefit any family or other carers working to help older people stay in their homes.  

TayCare at Home provides quality care and support services to older people, predominantly those aged 65 years and over in their own homes. We will, however, provide services to those under the age of 65 years where our services are agreed to be suitable in meeting their needs.

Everyone is unique, and will have different needs and preferences regarding services and level of support. If, after finding out about us, you are still interested in our services, before you decide and to ensure we can provide you with a care and support service which meets your requirements, we will arrange for one of our care team to visit you in your own home. We will talk to you and assess your individual circumstances, needs and wishes in partnership with you, your family/advocate and any other care or health professional that can help ensure you get what you need and want. We will then tailor a personalised package of services to suit you as an individual and to provide reassurance and support to those close to you.

At TayCare, we continuously question whether we are providing the services that people need and want. We encourage all clients and their families or other carers to become actively involved in helping to shape the current and future services provided to them and others. We would welcome any suggestions of services that people want to see provided by us that we do not do today, but that we might do tomorrow!
